Heidi has trained dogs of all kinds, whether they work in the mountains, commercial capacities, or in the home with their families. She believes a successfully trained dog comes from the bond of the entire pack, and is passionate about helping you develop trust and communication between your dog and your family.

Our dogs Olive (Belgian Malinois), Bandit (Belgian Malinois), and Cutter (Catahoula) live at the ranch and are constantly teaching us how to do a better job helping your dogs. They’re well trained, well socialized and ready to help your dogs feel at home at the ranch (mostly by ignoring them)! And don’t worry; they’re only a little judgmental ;)

The West Hills K9 family also includes some Equus siblings! We love our horses and they make our ranch a home, but your dog will never be asked to interact with them during their stay here. They think they are a dog, but is in fact goats. They help keep the weeds down and are better trained than most dogs you’ll meet (before they come to West Hills, of course).
