Meet Heidi Hills
Heidi has always been told she has a way with animals. She grew up raising horses, cattle, dogs, goats and pigs on her family ranch and has continued to work closely with animals ever since. Heidi knows that a successful pack requires communication, and her passion is helping handlers (you) and their K9s (your dog) speak the same language.

“I got Jamo as a puppy. I have had Siberian Huskies in the past so I knew that they require a lot of work. Heidi took Jamo when he was just two or three months old and we started with just basic commands like sit and stay. He really just turned into a completely different dog, it was amazing. Turns out I needed training, too. Heidi helped me understand that every dog should be a “working dog” in the sense that they should understand what their job is and their place in the pack. Jamo understands that now and is so much more obedient now that we know how to communicate to him that when he does his job, he earns the things he wants. Jamo is a family dog, and he takes that job seriously; he knows it’s his responsibility to greet people at the door, to make sure everyone is accounted for and happy, and to help our pack function as a whole.
